About the International Business Council
The International Business Council Management Committee
The International Business Council of Western Australia is an incorporated member-based council whose membership consists of bilateral chambers of commerce or business councils and/or associations who are actively involved in local and international trade activities.
The Council encourages and facilitates communication and co-operation among its members and provides additional contact and networking opportunities for individuals, companies and groups within those member organisations.

The International Business Council is managed by a member-elected management committee. Only an endorsed financial member of a member organisation is eligible to be on the committee. The current management committee is:

The International Business Council membership is open to all incorporated Western Australian business Groups representing individual or corporate interests in international commerce and trade. Since 1996 the International Business Council of Western Australia has presented annual awards to acknowledge the contribution made by individuals who develop international business which benefits Western Australia. The valued ‘International Business Awards’ are divided into four categories to recognise contributions made to a range of business situations. The categories are:

More than 200 people attended the 2008 International Business Awards Gala Dinner at Perth’s Government House Ballroom.
It is the thirteenth year of the awards which are an opportunity to recognise those outstanding achievers who have contributed to international business benefiting Western Australia.
The awards embrace the many facets of international business and encourage international enterprise.
